As one of the oldest parts of the city of Grand Junction, the Riverside area is beginning to see new signs of revitalization—and we’re proud to be a part of that process. Maybe as you’ve passed by, you’ve wondered what exactly was coming to this area of Grand Junction. We’re very excited to be a part of a team that’s bringing new construction and a new outlook for the long-neglected Dos Rios area of Grand Junction. Creating a space for people to work and live in the downtown area is one of our top priorities as the general contractors for the project.

We’re proud to be the general contractors working on the development there and in the Dos Rios area. Already, we’ve begun to rejuvenate an old area of town, bringing modernity, freshness, and most importantly, hope for the future. When the developments at Dos Rios are done and the new construction there is finished, this downtown area will be the center of a live-work space that provides a connection between younger people and the companies for which they work. All over the United States, live-work communities have become increasingly popular, especially with younger people, because it gives more options to people who aren’t quite ready to tie themselves down to a home.

New Companies Coming to Dos Rios

Many of the companies that will be setting up shop in the Dos Rios area will be tech and outdoor-related companies. One of the tenants that will be coming there, for example, is Sunshine Polishing, a company that paints both gondolas and ski-lifts. On top of building spaces for tech and outdoor companies, the new construction in the Dos Rios area will bring light residential space as well as buildings that combine the two. Some of the new buildings coming to the area will be designed so that the first floor will have retail space and the upper floors will be residential.
